I have recently revisited B'town Beak-tectives and updated it.
Here are the major changes:
- Added a detailed play example for the game
- Added reminder to not elaborate on a clue until after rolling on the Clue track
- When rolling on the Clue track, the new clue supports your theory on a 5+ instead of a 4+
- When "levelling up", the stat is now capped at +3 rather than +4
- The facilitator is now the Gull Master (GM). When I first wrote the game, I avoided the term game master to encourage collaborative storytelling, but when I revisit the game, I can't resist making the pun.
- The collective noun used for seagulls is now "squabble" instead of "colony". "Colony" is the more grammatically correct term, but "squabble" is more fun and thematically appropriate.
- Typo fixes.
