v1.1 Minor typo fixes and PDF compression

Hey folks,

I have been working on a complete overhaul of the game, but progress has been slow.

This file contains some minor typo fixes that I made before I started working on the overhaul. More importantly, I have removed references to a problematic individual in the indie TTRPG scene. Also, Canva seems to export PDF with high quality images even in the lowest setting, resulting in 30-60+ mb files. I compressed the new file with a PDF editor, which should make it easier to download and view on lower-end devices.

Best regards,

Arthur

That was a fun one to play.  Any updates on a full overhaul?

Thanks for your interest!

I kept getting distracted by new projects, but Taels overhaul is indeed something I want to finish for a long time.

I have made a lot of notes on the lore of the game, but never got to write them down in a coherent way. I have also got some new character art commissioned and they are sitting in the project folder.

My plan is to expand the lore of the game without changing too much of the core mechanics, and crowdfund for a print run.

(Perhaps I can write the lore in small chunks as devlogs.)

I think expanding on factions and NPC generation would be huge help!   Your city guide is a great setting already.

Factions + Faction Moves maybe? (from your lore of course)

NPCs done largely same format as your city sectors (maybe even to highlight themes/lore of each sector with an 'typical' NPC ?)

Looking forward to more!

Cheers!

Thanks for the comment!

I have plans to write some scenarios with NPCs in them.

I have thought about factions with different political goals, but I don't think I want to go fully FitD for them. (I took bits and pieces of Blades in the Dark, but the game is still more PbtA than FitD.)
